We're sitting by the pool at the San Juan Caribe Hilton, where it's currently 82F. What a change from what we left behind in Chicago. Sorry it took so long to get to this first post, but one of my bags got confiscated by American Airlines yesterday in Chicago -- it's the same carry-on I use every week, but I guess I filled it too full this time and it wouldn't fit in the "bag sizer" so they checked it at the gate; of course then it didn't make our plane and got lost until about an hour ago. Why this mattered: it had my laptop charger in it, and I had run my battery down -- no computer; no blogging. I'll try to put together my first video blog later this afternoon and get it up tonight.
